The first solo exhibition 'BIG LOVE' took place at JunIn Hospital in Daegu, South Korea.

This journey began when my mum suffered a stroke. It was heartbreaking, and I still find it difficult to believe. Because she could not leave the hospital, I appealed to the staff to let me hold my very first exhibition there during her birth month to celebrate her birth.

I dedicate my work to my mum, JongHee, to express a depth of love so vast it is difficult to put into words.

I chose whales to represent this because they are massive, gentle giants—just like her love.

Heeaart started with that exhibition. Realising that life can change in an instant and you never know what the future holds, I began to paint.

These works are my way of honoring her and capturing the "Big Love" that sustains us, even in the deepest waters.
